Television manufacturer Vu today launched a new series of itd smart LED TV in India. The specialty of the television series is that all these LED TVs are based on the Android 7.0 Nogget Operating System. In this series, the company has introduced three TVs of 43-inch (42SU128), 49-inch (49SU131) and 55-inch (55SU138). Of these, 43-inch TVs cost Rs 36,999, 49-inch TVs worth Rs 46999 and 55-inch models cost Rs 55,999. All these three TVs have given similar specifications and features except the screen size.

Now the question arises whether Vu along with this new range is trying to make its place in the Indian television market at the present time in place of a particular company. As everyone knows, Shamoji has also introduced some of the slimest TVs with the Mi-LED TV 4K Rezauli Ability sometime ago in India and this is also priced at Rs 39,999. After that, this new TV range from Vu directly means that Vu is actually not considering Samsung or LG, but for now Shaoomi is in a competition. We have already told you about Shaomi TV, then know how this new television of Vu proved in our first experiment ….

Premium looking design, but slickness reduction

We got a 49-inch model for review, which you can say at the first sight, that this TV is with a premium design. On the front, a large display with two front-facing speakers is provided in the bottom. On the right there is an IR port on its right. According to the company, this TV is very slim badges, but it is not as slick as it is seen in Shomei’s Mi LED TV. At the same time, the back section is quite heavy-looking, in which case the TV of Shawomai with only 4.9 mm slimness is much more than the premium look. Explain that both these TVs have been given in the power button bottom which can be called a bit weird.

Apart from this, the new VU TV has a LAN port on the back, an HDMI port and a USB port on the right. There are also some ports in its base, which include headphones jack, composite in, channels in, 2 HDMI ports and a USB port and digital audio out port. There is a stand and a wall mount option in this TV so that it can be installed on the table or on the wall at its convenience.

Better display

VU has also introduced several such TVs in the past, which is with better display output, then this new TV is not even different from them. This TV has an A + grade IPS panel with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and has 450 nits brightness capability. The viewing angle of this TV is 178-degree.

Stock Android Experience in TV

The VU Smart TV has a quad-core processor, 16 GB internal storage capacity and 2.5GB flash. Users can also run 4K content in it easily. Its hardware can be called good, but some things can be said about its software. As such, this TV is actually an Android TV, which is based on the Android 7.0 Nogget Operating System. Its user interface is quite smoother, which is also easy to use and convenient. Google Movies, TV, Music etc. have been synced in its home menu. Apart from this, these TVs are with the support of Google Play Store, but only a limited number of apps support this Android TV

There are several third-party apps like Netflix, Hotstar, ALT Balaji, Sony LIV etc. In addition, this new Smart TV has been built in-built for chromecast so that any smart device makes it easier to play or mirror the content.

Remote control and sound systems can also be called better

First talk, its sound is given in a sound bar bottom in which two speakers of 10W + 10W have been given. In addition, different sound modes such as rock, pop, live, dance and techno are also given in the TV. Apart from this, these TVs are with Dolby Digital Support and also have audio enhancements. In our early experiment, the sound of this TV has been fine, which, even if it is increased, there is no problem like noise bursts, etc. At the same time, you can take the details of this information through a review of this TV some time later. After this, talk about its remote control, so this smart TV is with two remote controls in which one is based IR and the second is Bluetooth based. First of all, the setup requires IR based remote control so that it can later be connected to Bluetooth IR TV.
